I updated the app on my Android device and the map will not open - what can I do?

This seems to be an odd glitch that is affecting only a small number of users and we’re working to figure out the cause.

In the meantime, there is a work-around procedure that should get you into the app:

It takes some patience the first time, but let the app take its time to load the map – it could take up to 10 to 15 minutes. Once the map is displayed, go to the filters page and select just one region. Tap the Set Filters button and that one region should load reasonably quickly. In the future, as long as you select only one or possibly two regions at a time, you should not experience that very slow loading process again.
